Who is responsible
Lince Media LLC, at 25 SE 2nd Ave, Ste 550 #1172, Miami, FL 33131, United States, decides what happens with this data. No other company sits behind the draw. You can write to that postal address.
What the draw stores
Making a draw does not ask for an account or a password. WhatsApp does not ask for an email or a phone number either. If you choose email, we store each participant’s address only to send their link, and it is deleted with the draw.
- The group name, budget, currency, date, and message, if you enter them.
- Each person’s name, and the exclusions.
- Each participant’s email, only if the result is sent by email.
- Gift ideas a person chooses to write.
- The result: who each person gives to. It opens only with their link.
- The page language, so the draw is shown in that language.
We do not store the IP address. The server uses it for a moment, in memory, to slow abuse, and it is not recorded.
Santa’s ideas, only if you ask
There is a separate notice for gift ideas by email and WhatsApp. It is optional. The draw does not depend on asking for them. If you press “I want ideas”, we store the email, the WhatsApp number, the language, the date, and the text you accepted.
Those details are not joined to the result. They do not tell us who is giving to whom. The basis is your consent. You can withdraw it on this page or with the link we give you when you sign up. Withdrawing it deletes the email and WhatsApp number from that list.
What the data is for
Draw data is used to run the draw you asked for and to show each person their link. The basis is that service.
The email and WhatsApp number from the notice are used only to send you gift ideas and similar messages about this site. We do not sell data. We do not pass it to advertisers. We do not build an advertising profile from the draw.
If you enter other people’s names, tell them they are taking part and send them this page. The organizer supplies those names.
How long it is kept
The draw stays until the organizer deletes it. Then the names, ideas, exclusions, and result disappear, and the links stop working. There is no account from which to recover them.
The email and WhatsApp number from the notice stay until you withdraw consent. Withdrawing it does not delete the draw, and deleting the draw does not add anyone to the ideas list.
Who else handles it
The data sits in a database in the European Union, in Frankfurt. The site is served from hosting in the European Union. Lince Media LLC is in the United States and is the one who decides.
If you press the WhatsApp button to send a link, you send that message yourself. You leave this site and open WhatsApp. We do not receive that chat.
There is no analytics and no advertising cookies.
Cookies and the browser
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. One cookie, ohsanta-locale, remembers the page language so the draw opens in that language. It does not measure the visit or follow you on other sites. On the organizer page, the browser can remember in its own storage which name you marked as yours. That does not leave your browser.
What you can ask for
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, and, where it applies, portability or to object. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your country’s data protection authority.
